I went in to get an IUD and was given little to no information on what symptoms could be. At my next appointment, the insertion which was very painful as expected and Dr. Zoryana’s bedside manner was also unpleasant. “Little pinch” as she pierces my cervix causing agonizing pain. I was given a heat pack and sent on my way. My symptoms included severe fatigue, weakness, hair loss, and exhaustion which ruined my senior year cross country season among making my life miserable. Dr. Bell truly sets the standard for excellent care. Not only do her and her staff treat me with respect, but they ensure that I always feel safe and heard. It can be difficult to find a specialist with an education in the unique circumstances faced by members of the LGBTQ community. Her care has improved my quality of life significantly, I would gladly drive hrs to continue to access her care.
