I have raved about the care my 73 year old mother has received at Samaritan Medical the four times she has been hospitalized due to vascular issues. The staff in ICU, 4th Floor, Inpatient Rehab and Surgical Staff are TOP NOTCH. I am sad however to report I wasn’t as happy with her ER experience tonight. Because of restrictions I was unable to go with her into ER. After going in for a UTI (was pretty sure it was another continuous infection), as I was hospitalized a month ago for it and have had continuous UTI’s since then (with multiple documentation), I was labeled a drug seeker. I was in an Addisoniam crisis (issue in itself) and was basically written off. I’ve complained with the ER supervisor and am awaiting a call from the patient advocate. I do not appreciate being classified this, when having a chronic condition that they wrote off. They are lucky I don’t contact a lawyer. 🤷�... read more
RecommendedI just gave birth. I have to say this is one of the best hospitals I have been to. The nurses are absolutely amazing. The doctor who delivered my baby is incredible. Best delivery experience I've ever had. Wish I could remember all of there names. Would be giving the biggest shout outs ever! Thank you so much!!!! Keep up the spectacular work!

Recently, my fiancé was taken to Samaritan by ambulance following 3 grand mal seizures, I was unable to go due to Covid. He was seizing as he was being transported and totally unresponsive. They told me I would know more once he gives a release - I’m his health care proxy and have all legal rights. Once I first called 40 minutes after leaving i was told “he is just getting settled we don’t know anything.” Note we live about a 2 minute WALK to the hospital. Horrible experience and deleted my previous review, assuming patient relations would return my phone call. They didn’t. Don’t bother calling them when they ask you to.

I went into the ER last night @10:30pm with chest pain and the pain was moving to my arm and I was still waiting and it’s 2am the people that got there after me got seen first and I finally decided to leave at 3:30am. Samaritan is bad
