I used to see a counselor here, for years. She retired. Now 4 years later I wanted to start seeing another counselor but Samaritan won't reply back to me. I've sent 3 online requests and called once, left a message but no one responded. I have medical insurance to cover the bill so I don't know why they're ignoring me. Not very professional.
I love my therapist. I feel like she doesn't judge me.. regardless of how bizarre I am acting at the time, or what ridiculous stories I share. Has helped me a lot with accepting myself as I am, and to set boundaries and prioritize myself. I did have a bad experience with EMDR in the past here.. just make sure you feel you have your self soothing and coping skills down pretty good before trying that, and don't be scared to say stop if it feels too much.🩷 Also I have tried several therapists throughout my life and really have... read more
