This was my first visit and she began with a humorous comment about me related to her contact with my primary care physician. It was at that moment I knew that our personalities were in sync and I could speak frankly regarding my medical issues as well as my personal concerns. This is, for me, an essential component in any doctor-patient relationship. I look forward to working with Dr. Avery in fine-tuning a personalized and successful health plan going forward.
Dr. Avery was wonderfully kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel like I was truly being listened to. She made sure to answer all of my questions and ensure that we had a clear game plan for the future. I couldn’t be happier!

ABSOLUTELY She is always available & responsive to my described 'experience' vs theory/concepts. She explains things thoroughly & prescribes testing & recommends medications & practices in response to the results of the test results

Dr. Avery is a fantastic cardiologist and knowledgeable physician. Her bedside manner is outstanding. She spent a lot of time with me making sure I understood my condition and gave me time to ask my list of questions, which she thoroughly and happily answered. Dr. Avery is amazing. When I first met Dr. Avery two years ago I had been on the same blood pressure medication for 25 years. During that time, as my blood pressure gradually rose, so did the dosages of medication. At my first visit with Dr. Avery she spent at least 30 minutes asking about my medical history, physical & mental health, and after our conversation she prescribed a different blood pressure medication than I had been taking, and what a difference. Dr Avery is an exceptional dr. She’s Personable and extremely thorough. She explained everything to me and then sent information to explain further in depth. I drive an hour to see her Which is nothing when you find a great dr.
I do not live in the U S and my time here is very limited but Dr Avery was able to fit me in for an appointment. Her staff was great, my wait time was almost non existent and all my exams and test were completed very professionally. all my follow ups are going as scheduled. Otis Bourgeois
