Samander was a cool cat. A good egg. We had our spats here and there but overall, I believe he truly had the best intentions with seeing me get better. One of the last things he said to me was “don’t sell yourself short”... I saw Dr Samander 2005-2006 and He truly is a doctor that cares . I wished I could have left a review like this when I was in treatment with him . I saw him for Depression : Yrs later I am diagnosed Brain tumor / Aneursym . It took yrs to get accurate medical diagnosis . Thank you Dr Samander for being there for me back when I went through a difficult time .

He thought he had all the answers. He told me not to talk. He took me conditionally with Tricare because all I wanted was Wellbutrin something easy. He did NOT even give me what works for me. I know my body and how it reacts, he does not! I deal with a family member who has schizophrenia I got depressed due to the chaos of legal issues. It is not clinical it is conditional and not likely to be for the rest of my life. I have done well with out help from the likes of him
