The Only Amenity That Works is Disappointment, The listing promised a state-of-the-art gym 24/7 and luxury finishes. What I got a treadmill that makes concerning noises, a front desk that mysteriously disappears when you need them, and kitchen cabinets that were installed with hopes and prayers. At least my expectations get a workout every day.

If I were a roach, I’d give this place five stars. It’s warm, spacious (for them, at least), and they’ve got a thriving community. Unfortunately, I’m just a tenant who pays way too much rent to be sharing my kitchen with uninvited guests. The management’s response? It’s NYC, what do you expect? Well, I expected NOT to have an insect roommate named Greg.
