I highly recommend Sam - He's a fantastic marriage and family therapist, especially great with couples and parents dealing with postpartum issues. I often refer clients to him for extra relationship support or support for their partners, and he always does an excellent job helping them navigate difficult issues. They report back about his engaging style, direct approach, great sense of humor, and top-notch clinical skills. Glad to have him as a trusted colleague.

Wow! Just looked up Sam's info to recommend him to a friend. I saw the negative reviews and was super surprised. He really helped me and my husband through a difficult time after our 2nd kid was born. I needed to be heard and my husband needed to be heard. Sam functioned as a translator till my husband and I were speaking the same language and held us both accountable. I think it really helped my husband that Sam is a guy.Therapy is hard but worth it. That was almost 6 years ago now, still together.

My experience was awful. It was truly painful to sit and talk to Sam. He is agitated, condescending, and disrespectful.

I really wonder if the other reviewer has the wrong person. Our experience couldn't have been more different. Sam was fantastic, didn't take sides, and in 2 minutes figured out our actual issue that my husband and I couldn't figure out on our own. He was kind, patient, listened to both of us, and gave us some really concrete things to do. I've recommend Sam to many friends because we were so happy with him.
