I have been eating at Sams for 30 years. It’s a great meeting place for Marines. The food is great!
Steak sub was terrible, same for wrap ordered by wife. I will never step foot in that dive again.
Don’t order the ruben... I wrongly assumed the sourness I caught a wif of in the shadows of our table was the sour kraut.... about halfway through the first half of the sandwich some meat fell out ... a rainbow of green encased the normal corned beef color ... I’m okay with dives, most of the best meals I’ve had out are at Mom and Pops... we actively search for the little establishments... but green doesn’t belong on a Ruben - it wasn’t even Sai t Patrick’s Day. Be warned.
