Food is good, if you don’t mind waiting 90 minutes. Air conditioning is artic caliber, bring a sweater. Reserved seating and seat allocation are chaotic . Entertainment is usually high caliber, inspite of venue’s shortcomings. Service staff is trying hard , they are simply impeded by flawed design and poor management. I’ll go back because I grew up Catholic and I understand pain and redemption .

Nice venue, great employees. But I had a bug drop intro my lap in the middle of the show. Significant effort was put into not freaking out. It was my only complaint.
Without a doubt one of the most professionally run live music venues in San Antonio. An exceptional sound and light system, a professional sound engineer, nice upscale facilities and an adjacent Burger Joint makes for a fantastic place to perform and or see your favorite bands (and have dinner ahead of the show). Sam's is one of the 3 best venues in the entire city! Support live music, go to Sam's!
