Communication is terrible when it comes to follow up before surgery. I did an initial visit to have an infected bump on my back checked. I was told I would need surgery (that it couldn't be removed in a simple office visit, which made no sense to me). I was told to let it heal more before surgery, to give it time to see where we are at. Weeks later, the bump completely changed! My husband was treated by Dr. Phinney and we both were very happy with him as a person and a surgeon. He really does use alternative pain control not drugs and we would recommend him as a surgeon. Thank you for your excellent and attentive care.

Absolutely a 5-star doctor who is totally professional; takes his time to explain all facets of the ortho problem and how he recommends fixing it; and you will feel 100% assured you're in the best hands with Dr. Phinney. Maybe it was the military background that we each shared, but I was greatly impressed with him and feel highly confident and simply "in good hands" with my upcoming surgery.
