About two months ago I had a colonoscopy that Dr Sam Anouna performed. After the procedure the Doctor gave me instructions to call his office in several weeks and let him know how I was doing. I waited the time period I was told to call back. As usual I left messages and no one ever called me back. I think Dr Anouna gets a bad wrap because of his poor office staff. This is not the first experience with his office staff never returning calls. In my opinion Dr Anouna is top in his field and sometimes gets bad reviews because o... read more

I came in because I was having intestinal problems, I told the doctor that I had been already diagnosed with celiac disease whem I was 14 with an endoscopy I did not at the time know if I had gotten a biopsy and the rest of the meeting seems to be about confirming my Celiac which 14 years of dealing with exposure and reactions to gluten can confirm that I have it, I constantly tried to get into contact with Dr Anouna after the meeting for a brief 5-minute conversation regarding my treatment as procedures like another endosco... read more

Dr. Did not bother to introduce himself prior to procedure. He didn't even greet me or my wife. Seemed bothered by questions regarding procedural results. Very short; terrible bedside manner. We felt as though our questions were bothersome and that we were intruding on his time.

I will start by saying this man should be ashamed to call himself a Doctor. Sam does not care about the human being in front of him, he would rather stare at your file the entire time you pour your heart to him. Sam refuses to treat patients when he simply does not want to and goes as far to lie to avoid doing his duty as a healthcare professional?. Sam Anouna works at one of the most poorly? rated ?Gastroenterology? offices offered in Colorado which is exactly where he belongs.

Dr. Amounts did 3 colonoscopies on me. The first 2 I thought he was great. The third time I was shocked & very disappointed & left in what could have put my live in danger. I'm a heart patient who takes blood thinners. He took me off for five days for the procedure. The day of procedure my INR was 1.4 he refused to give a shot of lovenox or heparin prescription. 2 & half weeks after procedure I am still trying to get back to 2.5 ONE. By having a low INR puts me in danger of having a stroke or MI

I sit here, typing this, wanting cry... Dr. Anouna has been my "G.I. specialist" for about a year now, and I have yet to meet the man, but once, for a few seconds, just before my first and only procedure at NDEC. Since that visit, I have tried to reach Dr. Anouna and his staff at RMG on several occasions. When I finally get a call back, it is never Anouna, always someone else or the dreaded "Christina". They treat me with such disrespect and ignore my pleas for help. There is always some excuse.
