We had a great waitress... she told us up front she was new but you wouldn't have known ... the bread was fresh and the herb butter delicious... we had heard about the fresh pasta and that was one of the reasons I wanted to try this place. The dinners were great.. the chicken parmigiana was crispy melt in your mouth yummy....the peppers and sausage was great (had mine on fresh spaghetti noodles because we wanted to try different pastas) and finally we topped off the dinner with a cannoli... it was also great with a fresh ric... read more
Best place in MO. for Italian. Food is unbelievable, service spot on. The owners make you feel welcome, I recommend this place to everyone I talk to.
The pasta and bread were fantastic, as was the balsamic that they have sitting on the table. The service left something to be desired. I think our food would have also been much better had it not sit under the heat lamps for almost ten minutes. I watched our waitress take my fiancé’s drink that she had filled up and then serve it to another table (used cup that went to another person). Salvatore's is one of my all-time favorite restaurants, not just in the Ozarks, and not just in the Italian cuisine genre. I have too many favorites on the menu to count.
Good food and atmosphere reminded me of little restaurants I loved in Italy. Owner and staff are warm and friendly.
Very fresh, awesome flavor. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
