We took my former neighbor to San Francisco after stopping by 2 times to make sure there was availibilty. We also called ahead they told us to bring him in the morning. After they found out HIS MOTHER’s address in contra costa county they sent him away (he is in his 30s ) . He is homeless like so many in San Fran and needed help and they denied him help. Independientemente de si sirve o no ese programa,si son extrictos o no o si son muchas o pocas las reglas y mil cosas más !. Deberían de vigilar a esas personas ,cuando salen a la calle !ya que e visto a los alrededores de ese lugar principalmente que: Se dicen miembros o participantes o parte de el staff y en lugares donde se reúnen familias o personas y están CONSUMIENDO algún tipo de sustancias,que no son parte de la comida que ahí se sirve o vende!!!. Although, the program didn’t work out for me due to my need for dual diagnosis, I still think it’s a great program. The staff are caring and patient. There are a lot of rules with strict consequences but it’ll help provide the structure and discipline you need. The work program can be a bit overwhelming but it’ll take time to get used to. You wake up at 5am weekdays and 6am on weekends. There is 8 hour shifts/5days a week in which you receive a small gratuity.
