intriguing art museum Salvador Dali is such an intriguiging artist I was very excited to make a trip to the Salvador Dali museum in St. Pete. I'm familiar with some of his surrealistic art, but this small museum had hundreds of pieces of his work, both painting and sculptures. His work has a lot of optical illusions and would be interesting for the family, but there are some nude partially/nude images FYI. They also have a gift shop.
Salvador Dali Museun I have visited the Salvador Dali Museum many times and each time I go I am amazed. They rotate the artwork with other museums so each time you go you can have an entirely new experience. The staff is friendly and the tours that are offered will provide you with a wealth of information. The museum can also host your next party! Check them out on-line.
Wonderful place It's nice to see that this museum is kept in such great shape. Everything about it is great. The tour guides, the exhibits. I wasn't a huge Dali fan...I went with my husband, but I really enjoyed going to this museum. It's not like a typical artist or museum. I think kids would enjoy this as well. It's a fun place in a really nice location.
Art and the Madman at the Dali Museum One of St. Petersburg's most famous attractions is the Dali museum, which houses the second largest collection of Salvador Dali's art in the world. While viewing Dali's art is a surreal experience in itself, visiting the museum itself is also quite fun. They offer a variety of films related to surrealism and Dali and their gallery changes quite often, so you never see the same thing twice.
Tampa Native – A must see if you are in Tampa! I highly recommend visiting the museum.

Eye Candy – Out of Sight..We have the ability to view the works of one of the greatest surrealist in our backyard!
Surrealistically Wonderful – One of the Jewel's of Tampa Bay! I only wish it wasn't so off the beaten path! Couldn't the City provide better access? Or better yet how about giving it a new home at the top of The Pier! Dali would have approved of the upsidedown pyramid!!
