I’ve gotten this sausage about 10 times. 50% of the time it is inedible and wet/soggy smells gross I pay $15 every time, so really $30 for a negative experience. Why is it wet!?!
I went there 8 years ago and still remember how great everything I tried was. Was recently talking to a friend about to visit Chicago and this was the first place I thought of. Glad to see it’s still around!
I'm obsessed. I feel bad for all the reviews on mixed up orders and people complaining as I received my first online order after being obsessed by the finocchiona which I purchased at the upscale Erewhon Grocery store in Pacific Palisades CA location and had to have more! I ordered several of the 5.3 oz club and they all shipped and arrived perfectly. Now onto my 2nd order - can't wait!
I found their products at Mariano's and was shocked by the impressive quality. The taste, texture, and aroma are all worldclass. Truly fantastic.
