I had a unfortunate experience at Salty Peaks, so I went home and wrote an honest review on Google critiquing my situation at Salty Peaks. the owner then replied to my review slandering my character, calling my snowboard cheap (Lobster Halldor Pro Model - retail 500$), and overall just lying about the situation that occurred - purchasing a repair job from them. I thought I would also go on Facebook and leave a review in attempts to warn people of what they might experience purchasing goods or services from Salty Peaks.

This place used to be kinda tight but it’s turned into one of the most whack snow/skate shops ever. My only mission was to get Salty branded gear that I could ship to a friend back East. I walk in and the homie behind the counter hits up the store intercom saying someone’s on the floor and instantly I’m being tracked around by this annoying dude like I’m some fucking criminal. The Salty Peaks web site is infected and injecting the 'HoeflerText Pop-Up' javascript to users that visit the site via Google Chrome browser. This is a serious virus that if you follow the pop up instructions asking you to download and run the fake chrome font pack, it installs the Spora Ransomware (encrypts the users computer and demands payment). The Salty Peaks web site needs to be taken offline immediately. Who knows how many people your web site has infected already...
