Snowboarders' heaven I have been to them all and hands down, Salty Peaks offers the best selection of snowboards, snowboard apparel, and service anywhere in any state. I challenge anyone to find a better snowboard shop. Salty is a snowboard specialty shop for hardcore boarders and newcomers alike. It's also a great destination for the skate rats. One of the coolest sites around is walking into the shop and seeing all the old woody boards from the '70's adorning the rafters and walls. There's also a slew of the earliest made snowboards for your viewing pleasure. It's amazing to see how far this sport has gone! But in terms of snowboards, Salty Peaks has pretty much every latest model available, boasting some 300 different models in stock from boards to boots to bindings during the peak season. Salty also has mountain boards, snakeboards, dirtboards, as well as accessories, magazines, videos and stickers. The service department is first rate and they'll trick out whatever you need--whether it's adjustments, new bindings or a simple wax job. It's all good at Salty Peaks! And for having so many young employees these kids are world class--attentive, helpful... and gnarly, dude! PROS: sweet shop! prices are the best in the valley CONS:

Fun place to hang out Salty Peaks is a local snowboard shop on 3300 south in Salt Lake City, Utah. They have great employees who are very helpful. They also have a great selection. Would recommend. Higher priced.
