Not bad, not great Went in with a group of people who had all been there before. Liked the decor and service was friendly. Food was ok, not the greatest. Everyone has a favorite Mexican restaurant, this one just isn't mine.
Queso and Margs LOVE the queso and the spinach empanadas. Great margs, too. I enjoy sitting on the enclosed patio during the spring. The place is always hopping with lots of customers. Wait staff hustles, too. As busy as they are, I don't think I have ever had to wait long for a table. Good stuff and a good price!
Salty Iguana Good service and good food was had at the Salty Iguana. Lots of Tortilla chips, a big selection on the menu and cheap prices. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced Mexican meal.
Bravo! You want to go where everyone knows your name? Be a regular at the Salty Iguana in Prairie Village and you'll feel like you were transported to the Cheers' set only with wonderful Mexican food. Family friendly. A nice change from the typical sports bar to watch your favorite team and just a blast in their private party room,
Bueno Mexico I love the Salty Iguana because it has good quality Mexican food. The salsa is the best salsa in Kansas City. It is not too spicy, plus they have spicy if you want it. They are very fast and the service is great.
