This place is magical. The team was hospitable, funny, and caring. The service and food was delightful. And the setting was a throw back to a simpler, more present time. And it showed up in conversation that most “normal” places wouldn’t have the space and intention to emerge. What a gift to know this place exists. We can’t wait to return.
Saltwell is one of those rare places that completely pulls you out of your normal life in the best way. We went for an intimate bachelorette dinner, and it was everything we didn’t know we were hoping for. You should absolutely plan to be there for a long unhurried evening, at least three hours, but in the best way possible. From the moment you arrive, everything feels intentional. Went to the first time to celebrate my husbands birthday. Had heard wonderful things. Atmosphere was great! Wait staff were moderately attentive, drinks were well balanced. Disappointed in the food, as all of our hot plates came out room temp to cold. Overall the quality of the food we received at our visit was disappointing, especially with the high price point.
It's a one-of-a-kind experience. The food and drinks are amazing and it feels like you are having a dinner at a friend's homestead. Everyone was so friendly.
