Steamed Sea Bass Shanghai with Ginger Soy broth is a favorite. Other favorites include the Grilled Tuna Salad Sandwich or the mussels with White Wine Garlic Broth. Pan-fried items are also available.

Really good food with complex flavors served by very attentive staff. I'd put it up against any seafood restaurant in the area. Great bang for the buck.

I enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this restaurant. Although I liked the intimate feel of this smaller restaurant, I found it to be very loud even though the restaurant wasn't full. It was difficult for our server to hear us even while standing right next to us. The service was great and very attentive! Overall the food was delicious, but a few things lacked proper seasoning and could be improved. Although the service and food was good, there wasn't anything unique or special to make me want to come back.

We are here for my wife's birthday, and as always the service and food were excellent. Our server was very helpful and patience while we ordered. We never felt rushed and the pacing of the food was spot on. The food as always was excellent! This is why Saltwater grill is one of my Wife's favorite restaurants in Galveston!

This place rocks! The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. If you're looking for a great experience, this is the place to eat. It's a little pricey, but in my opinion...well worth it! I had the grilled shrimp & scallops with mushroom and cheese risotto...OUTSTANDING! My wife had the filet, which was good as well. Their forte is seafood, so don't go in looking for a Texas steakhouse experience. Stick to what they do best...which is of course seafood:)
