Dinner with a close friend last night. Never been. I never anticipated raving about a damned beet salad, but BEET SALAD!! Amazing place.
It is hard to find something NOT to like at Salt Springs! The beautiful building, the amazing food, the spot-on beers, especially the German ones (Alt, Marzen, Hefeweizen, Mai Bock) to the "trendiest" including a NE IPA (that is fantastic!) I also love that the owner, and his unmistakable signature mustache, are always around making sure everything with the beer is perfect. The sure sign of a successful brewmaster and delicious beers! Plus, summer in Michigan + their biergarten = perfection!
We came in for the first time on June 2 to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary! The food was fabulous, the service was excellent and the beer was delicious. Thank you, Salt Springs Brewery! We will be back!
