The food was great but the room we were in was so noisy we couldn't hear ourselves think they stuck our party of 8 in a room with a party of 30 or 40 and they were so loud it was very unenjoyable. The parking situation there is atrocious also. We had multiple servers who seemed to forget about us at times as well. Overall great food but everything else was not up to the food and made for a dismal evening.
We have been in Indian Shores for 4 weeks and have been to Salt Rock 1-2 times per week with guests. A gift card was also purchased for us. We have a good estimate of what's been spent. $$$$$. We went to the outside bar for 2 drinks; spending $20 and we're rudely informed that we shouldn't sit down with our drinks because "other people were waiting to order food". It was a celebration dinner and we were all pleased with our dinners. Server was helpful and knowledgeable.
Food - !excellent, service - excellent, ambience - excellent...we were there 3 times in one week!
Salt Rock Grill had been our "destination restaurant" for sometime. It has always been our place to impress our "out of town" visitors. Recently, we had an experience that was not bad it just didn't "wow" anybody like we had come to expect at Salt Rock & Baystar restaurants and left us questioning the value. The food was excellent but our waiter was outstanding! Tried a reservation but couldn't get in so we walked in and was seated at a high top table in the bar area.... perfect! No complaints here and will definitely be going back!!
The food was excellent. Great selection of wine. Lovely atmosphere. Our server, Alexander, was awesome. Make sure to call ahead for reservations. And you can get a bag of their herb mixture to go! My husband uses it on everything.
Wonderful service and excellent food, in a setting that is very nice with a view of the intercostal. Very energetic, and a bit too noisy. The Stone Crab Claws were delightful, and the mustard sauce was great.
As always....Food - Excellent! Service - Excellent! Overall Value - Excellent! Favorite place in the entire Bay Area to eat and bring friends!
