Our fine Mexican restaurant is bright, clean and colorful. Each table features two tantalizingly-different salsas, along with crispy, light tortilla chips. The menu offers traditional Mexican dishes like chicken or beef fajitas, enchiladas and burritos, plus some not-so-traditional platters such as seafood with a south-of-the-border flair. We invite you to savor your favorite dish and enjoy our frothy, refreshing margaritas. Happy Hour is Monday thru Friday from 11am to 7pm. (Excludes Holidays) Salsas offers a daily Lunch Sp... read more

My Favorite Restaurant Salsas is a fabulous restaurant located on the seawall in Galveston. The service is always wonderful and I love the atmosphere. While their food is good, the best part of the Salsas experience is by far the margaritas!!!! They have the best margaritas in town. They are great tasting and like the staff shirts suggest, they are strong. It's a great family restaurant as well as a comfortable hang out with friends. I go there regularly to partake in the happy hour, which provides those fantastic 'ritas at ... read more
Love the sauce They make wonderful Tomatillo sauce. The margaritas are very good. I like the fajita taco sald, it has good selection of greens( not just iceberg), olives, different cheeses, more things than you normally get on a taco salad. It's huge tho, I can't eat the whole thing.
If you don't mind waiting check it out They have really good food at Salsas Mexican restaurant but always so packed. It is right on seawall and they do have a great patio but everytime I have been there has been a huge wait time. I like I said food is great so if you can catch it on a down time try it.
Creative combination plates on the island – We tried Salsa's for the first time while in Galveston last weekend; one of our many spring jaunts to the island. I opted for the Buena Vista combination which included a shrimp soft taco, shrimp enchilaa with cheese, shrimp tostada, rice, beans, guacamole and sour cream. My plate was absolutely declicious. My fiance tried the Mazatlan combination plate with a chicken enchilada & avocado sauce, beef taco, chicken flauta, rice, beans and guacamole. She loved her plate as well. While... read more
Great place for bad seafood – If you absolutely love seafood with a South-of-the-Border flare, don’t come here. God, I wish we’d tried Mixteca instead. I ordered the Shrimp combination plate (comes with a shrimp taco, enchilada, and chalupa). The shrimp had the taste boiled right out of it and was about as al dente as early-morning phlegm. To counter the fact that their shrimp cooking abilities amount to that of a package of ramen noodles, they drowned everything in one sauce or another. The taco’s “sauce” tasted a day or tw... read more

Better not cuss in this restaurant – A Galveston officer was enjoying an early dinner at 4:15 p.m. Monday at Salsa’s Mexican and Seafood Restaurant, 4604 Seawall Blvd., when he overheard a conversation between a man and a woman, said Lt. D.J. Alvarez, a Galveston Police Department spokesman. “The man said to the female, ‘I can’t believe you’re so f------ stupid,’” Alvarez said, who was reading from a police report of the incident made public Tuesday. “‘What the f--- were you thinking?’” “The manager was offended by the curse... read more
