I'm happy to say I've found my new mechanic! I went to Sal's One Stop Auto for inspection, I got there 5 minutes before my 10am appointment. I was greeted by owner, who made me feel instantly comfortable and was very kind. Within 60 seconds my SUV was pulling into the garage...less than 15 minutes later it was finished and rolling out of the garage! Brought my Cadillac to Sal's for an issue I wasn't quite able to identify. There's a few things you need in a good mechanic. Understanding of cars is the baseline. But fast and clear communication, staying on schedule, and being kind to your wallet (rather than running up costs) all play significant factors. Sal's hit every aspect. Very grateful to have a good shop to rely on!
