So this salon has a very good reputation and This is why we decided to book with them on my sisters wedding day. First of not all are talented like houda and Helena. I wouldn't bother to book with the others especially for style. It seems also they favor certain clients over others .. It's pretty clear and refelects in their attitude .. The worst of the worst!!! I tried making two different appointments on different occasions it was a total fail! First off their receptionists idiots even a monkey can make an appointment very rude and unprofessional! Made an online appointment I called to confirm a month before my appointment to find out that the person I booked it with is unavailable that day talk about calling someone and letting them know... 2 times I tried with this place, I should've learned the first time never again I'll take my business elsewhere !!!... read more
I saw Houda and her team for my wedding day and I couldn't have been happier. She calmed my nerves from the second I walked in till I left and I felt beautiful. Reading some of these reviews is surprising. My whole bridal party raved about the places for weeks after. Overall I was very happy. I would definitely recommend this place.
Worst experience ever at salon west! i went there to get my wedding day hair and makeup done with Houda. First.... the service cost me $300 which was hair and makeup, i was ok with the price since is was my wedding day and thought i was going to get good treatment. Second.... Houda used cheap drug store makeup on me such as Wet N Wild, elf, Maybelline...etc, not one thing she used was high quality. i had such a bad allergic reaction to the cheap make up....by the time i got home all my eye makeup was messed up. i don't even ... read more
my friends engagement was supposed to be a happy day for her but she ended up crying in the salon chair because Houda decided to make a scene about how thin her hair was at the top announcing to everyone "do you see this? What am I going to do with it?" So incredibly rude and inappropriate. I would never recommend this place to anyone
Do your yourself a favor and go elsewhere. It's easier to talk to Obama when it comes to making an appt. especially with Houda. The women in this place think they are in Hollywood and so much better than everyone that walks in their door. Little do they know that some of their clients have a degree that is higher than a six month barber college. On top of that they are we too overrated and only post a few pictures that are not comparable to their actual work. A rating of 1 star is way too high for this salon
Im leaving a review abut the newly opened Salon west. I had an apt with Amber and waited 25 minutes extra after my appt time and explain to the receptionist that I only had 30min for my eyebrows . She went to see why its taking Amber so long ...came back telling me That if I'm not Happy to come back another day and make another appt . Are you kidding me!!! Salon West: Out of Business?? – This salon is by far the best salon I've ever been to, however a couple of years ago my husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas for $150.00 and I didn't spend all of it right away. I called to ask if there were expiration dates on them, I was told they never expire. I have 100.00 left on it and recently tried to schedule an appointment, only to find out that they must have gone out of business because I have been unable to contact them, the number is disconnected, does anyone out th... read more
Jennifer is the Best – I've had many hair stylists ruin my hair or give me a horrifying cut. As a result, it has been difficult to relax in a stylist's chair. From my very first visit with Jennifer, I was completely confident. She is amazing and I am happy to let her do whatever she wants knowing that she will make my hair look great with a style that works with my face and body.
