For my birthday, I usually do something fun with my hair. I pass this salon all the time walking my dog so I decided to try it out. I went in to see the “curly hair expert” Melissa, to have some balayage all over and fully lighten the back third of my hair to a honey blonde. No patch test was done and ended up frying my hair in the back. My went from a healthy 3C to a stringy 2b/2c. Back in November, I visited Salon Soleil after attempting to cut my own hair, which didn’t turn out as planned. I was able to get a consultation with Alexa the very next day. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and made to feel at ease as I waited for my appointment. I have awkwardly thick short hair and she killed it. After about a year of not really loving my hair I left feeling happy. It feels healthy and she brought texture to all the right areas
