Crystal knows her stuff about curls, but there are way too many rules (no perfume, don't arrive with "toxic hair products," appts where ur running late are auto-cancelled 10 mins after the set time w no exceptions & charge 50% cost of the service). I tried the salon 2 or 3 times, but all the other stuff is just too much. Also v expensive, but all people who do curly hair charge an arm & a leg. I am so thankful to have recently discovered Crystal. I have had difficulty finding someone who listens and knows what they are doing with curly hair, Crystal has both attributes, and is a lovely human to boot. As a former stylist myself, it has been a frustrating journey, to sit in a chair and receive a choppy, uneven haircut regularly.
