Established in 1972. Opening originally in 1972 Persia's Haircutting Salon started as a small two seat barber shop on Thayer St. It was run successfully for many years by its owner Mario Persia. In July of 2004 one of the shops lead stylists, Wassim Chedid, bought the shop from Mario. In January of 2005 he converted it into an elegant European style salon with six chairs, two washing stations, a front desk and a comfortable waiting area. My hair got tangled in a fan and I came with it completely knotted, and Nicholas Zakhia Chedid did an amazing job and was the best at taking it out.
Great haircuts, they even have a student discount.
The quality of Nicholas’ service is top tier. So much care and attention to detail for the simplest of cuts. You cannot find this level/quality of service anywhere else in providence.
