I got my mom a gift certificate for her birthday for a gel manicure. They asked for the gift certificate number and cashed it, but then told her they didn’t want to book her an appointment because she asked if she could get regular polish instead of gel. When they said no to the regular polish, she said ok I will book for gel. They said nope too late you already said you wanted regular polish so we will not book you for gel. Very strange behavior. Thanks for scamming my mom on her birthday.

Is this salon open for business? I live nearby in the Cal Young neighborhood (no, not in senior housing) and often shop the MOC and BiMart in that same plaza as the salon.
