Got my haircut at Salon Maj and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. Maj took the time to actually listen to what I wanted (which is rare these days) and somehow made it even better than I pictured. Super chill vibe, not rushed at all, and you can tell they actually care about the work they do. Left feeling like a whole new person, definitely found my new go-to spot.

Stopped by Salon Maj in the Loop for a quick trim and blow-dry—ran me about $60. The spot's got a chill vibe, and Maj himself is a real character, full of stories. But honestly, the cut was just okay; asked for some layers, but they didn't quite fall right. The blow-dry looked good when I left, but my hair lost its shape by the next morning. Not a total bust, but for that price, I expected better. Might give them another shot, but I’ll be more specific about what I want next time.​
