I’ve been coming here for years because my experience is consistently great no matter which of the girls I book with — especially Marina. I’m that customer that doesn’t know what I want and when I do I struggle at communicating. The atmosphere is exquisite and the barbers, woof! Couldn’t be better Joa is an expert I trust that man with my life! He can fix anything especially the Agrigeous frown on my face and turn it towards the shine of 1000 suns!
This place is the worst disappointment ever. As an Asian man I was super excited to find an Asian barber/ Asian business to support in Denver but the way that the staff treats customers is so bad I cannot justify spending my money at this place. All the other reviews talk about how unfriendly all of the staff are unfortunately correct. If you are even 1-2 minutes late the front desk staff and especially your barber will give you such a hard time about it. Salon Joa is an inviting, efficient, and cool salon. Their policies are clear, which helps avoid any confusion about booking and pricing. Their esthetic is fun and relaxing, though I wish the couches had higher backs. My stylist, Chrystala did an amazing job! She was professional, fun and knowledgeable. I felt heard and received one of the best haircuts I've ever had! I will return for haircolor.
