Came in from out of town for an event. Asked for some waves in my hair, nothing spectacular but instead got a tangled curly nest in my hair, looked 10 years older. At first I had an open mind but after so many bad comments about my hair I was devastated. It’s just one bad experience for me but how does a hair salon stay open with such bad service... never this place again.

Highly recommend and I will return for sure! – Very professional and friendly from the time I made an appointment over the phone. It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and it can be very awckard but they make you feel so relaxed, I loved it! Very few places offers the Brazilian wax, Salon J rocks! Oh, by the way it is located at the Regions bank and not the AMSouth Bank, but who can keep up with those banks changing names all the time anyways?

Awesome staff, relaxing environment – I've been a regular at Salon J for about 3 months now. I go once a month for a full Brazilian wax, which is somewhat pricey at $75 a pop. But it's absolutely worth it. I really like the atmospehere of Salon J - it's quiet, soothing and very relaxing. They have excellent staff - very friendly, always ready to greet you with a genuine smile. I get waxed by Symantha every time I go because she makes me feel very comfortable. Brazilian bikini waxes can be awkward - you're basically undressed... read more
