I had an excellent experience at Salon Istanbul. I was taken for my appointment immediately. The stylist asked great questions to understand what I was looking for with my haircut. He clearly knows what he is doing and gave me the perfect layers and blowout. He was kind, efficient, and respectful. The cost was also very reasonable for the Washington DC area. Overall an okay haircut - definitely took more hair than I asked for but it wasn’t only from the cut, it was also from the scalp. From the moment I asked for a trim and to freshen up my layers, I showed a reference picture (my hair is already cut like the photo - I ask for it every time). He glanced for maybe a second and said “butterfly cut?” Zero consultation - straight to the wash bowl where the yanking begins.
