Go see Megan at Salon Fontana. She has been doing my hair for the past 5 years and is great!! I strongly recommend her and especially enjoy the head massage after shampooing! She is knowledgeable about color and the latest styles.
Richard Fontana the owner was awesome. I moved from the east coast last year and had yet to find a stylist in the Vegas. I travel a lot and was getting my hair done on the east coast whenever I could, in-between business meetings. I first learned about Salon Fontana when we moved to Las Vegas in 2002. Richard was listed as a "Top Stylist" in the Las Vegas Magazine. I had tried a couple other local stylists also listed in that article and it had been either a disaster or just ok. Once I went to Richard at Salon Fontana I never went anywhere else...even when we moved to Phoenix for nearly 8 years! I recently came to this salon inquiring about the Brazilian blowout. I was quite a bit nervous as I did not want to damage my hair and I heard about the harsh chemicals the Brazilian blowout had. I spoke to Richard and he explained to me the products he uses are all natural and organic and do not have those harsh chemicals others have. My hair is usually very curly and frizzy. Richard Fontana is amazing and is a true artist!!! I recently got a cut and style and am truly happy with the results. I was referred by my cousin who always had such beautiful cut, style and color so I finally had the honor of meeting Richard. Sherry Kanani, a master stylist, has joined this salon - and wow what an addition. Ms. Kanani is a magician. My hair looked like a fright wig until I started going to her. She has many years of experience at the highest levels of the industry. She is a former salon owner from Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the San Fernando Valley, with an all-star clientele of TV news personalities, actresses and actors, politicians and business leaders. My girlfriend and I have recently moved to the area from California. I wanted to treat her to a cut and color, so after some research on yelp I heard great things about this salon. She got a recommendation to see master stylist Sherry Kanani. My girlfriend has never been happier with her hair and the entire experience she received. I had messed my hair up by doing it myself at home. Ended up with orange roots and green ends. It was horrible. I went into Salon Fontana and Sherry Kanani worked a miracle. She did such a great job, using three colors to make my hair even and bring it back to a beautiful blonde. I was so scared my hair would be mush, but it wasn't. I walked out with a huge grin!! Richard is amazing. All the staff is so welcoming. I had my 1st extensions put in back in Dec. 2012. They last 6 months. That was the best thing to ever get. I have gotten so many compliments on them. No one could believe in was extensions. Thank you so much.
