best color, and cut – I went to Salon Envy on a recommendation of a friend, and I love my new hair cut and color! I have lived in Chicago for 5 years now and never found a salon I felt did a great job until now! I think my stylist went out of her way to make sure we figured out what exactly I wanted before we started..sometimes I have a hard time communicating the style I'm looking for. Did I mention I LOVE MY HAIR? Thank you Salon Envy!! I'll be back.
False Rating – Don't be fooled by the 5 star rating of this hair salon. I had been going there since they opened and recently decided I had enough. I can't even begin to count how many times I spent waiting because they double book a lot of appointments. Tell me what is the point of cutting corners like this if you lose clientele? I would not recommend this business to anyone, in fact I would warn them that this rating is completely false. Wouldn't go back... – I arrived early for my appointment. Ended up waiting forever ( at least 1/2 an hour) past my appointment for her to even great me. She seemed she had too many clients. And was trying to do too many people in between other appointments. Waited forever again in between color and cut. I came with pictures and specific points of what i didn't want. Avoid! – I recently went to Salon Envy for highlights. I had Sarah who kept me waiting an excessive amount of time (over an hour)...I was not totally peeved at that; but the whole time I was waiting she never once gave me a look of acknowledgement when she passed by. When she finally got to me, she seemed rushed and rough putting in the foils. Fab. color and cut! – After reading the reviews here and waiting over a year to get my haircut ;I finally decided to give Salon Envy a try. I got my color and cut done with Dave and I couldn't be more thrilled! He was so nice! And not the "fake nice," he is gunuine. My hair has never looked nor felt better than it does today. I have never left a salon and really liked my cut/color and now I can honestly say I do. I have to say, I drove over an hour to give it a try, and now I will never go anywhere else.
Best hair salon in Chicago! – I went to Salon Envy after reading the reviews on here, it was a great experience all around. I had highlights and a haircut from Tracie, she did a great job and listened to what I wanted. I have a problem communicating sometimes and she understood and got it right! Amazing Stylist and Salon go hand and hand.... – I have never been happier with my hair then after I started to see Dave at Salon Envy. I actually followed him from anther salon and have been going to him for over 2 years. My Mom even drives from the far Northwest suburbs to get her hair cut from Dave. You feel like a supermodel after Dave does your hair!
Best Cut and Color! – My stylist, Lisa, moved to Salon Envy from the posh Mario Tricoci at 900 N. Michigan. I love Lisa, and she always makes me look like a movie star! I was nervous about following her to a small salon that may not be as nice. Boy was I wrong! my stylist move, i moved with her...and my hair thanks me for it every day. – My hair loves, loves, loves my stylist; so when she moved to Salon Envy, I moved with her, of course! Lisa, my stylist, gives me the most amazing long and luscious layers imaginable! I even convinced my boyfriend to go to her too. And you know what? His hair has never, ever, ever looked better.
