Initially I was going to rate even lower but I’m gonna try to give them the benefit of doubt and give myself partial blame. For context, I’ve only ever had bleached hair done by Korean hair salons in LA and Seoul that work quietly but quickly. Even the first time I had all of my hair (long and black Asian hair) bleached in LA, it didn’t take more than 5.5 hours. Anoosheh is phenomenal! I've never been so happy with my hair.
Anoosheh is a wonderful hair stylist. I explain to her what I’m looking for and she makes it happen. I like my hair very short and the cut is always stylish and cute!! I asked if she would do a home visit for my bed- ridden mother, who really wanted her hair cut, and she said yes. My mother was delighted with the cut, I cannot thank her enough.
Even though I usually have a pretty vague idea of what I want in a hair cut, Anoosheh is always ready to take my ideas and run with them. I end up with a beautiful hair cut that always exceeds expectations. But her real genius is hair color. If you don’t mind being stopped all the time with compliments, have Anoosheh use her hair color magic to do your hair. Surprise, delight and just a whole bunch of fun!
Since moving to Portland five years ago, I have never seen anyone but Anoosheh for my hair! Whether it’s every 8 weeks or it’s been half a year (hey, life happens!) she always treats me and my hair so well. I really appreciate how down-to-earth she is and how comfortable the salon is. Would recommend especially for those looking to go short! She is so talented at pixies.
