Horrible experience at Salon Blu. My first time there wasn't great. Gave them a second chance and...They called me to come in early. I rearranged my day to get there. Stylist rushed through. Cut my hair dry and made a mess of it. Went into salon with light brown hair and highlights that were only supposed to be touched up. Walked out dark brown - all one color - horrible box-like color. I’ve gone to Elyse three times over the last seven months and each time there’s been a new problem. In January, she didn’t cut my hair to the length I wanted it but just let it go. In March, I assumed maybe she was having an off day. She was spraying heat protectant on my hair and didn’t even bother trying to not get it in my face to the point that I had eyes closed and was holding my breath. I was sooo disappointed with this salon. I needed my roots colored and a cut. The stylist recommended root touch up and a glaze. My normally medium brown color came out very dark (almost black). On my second visit, the stylist recommended lightening up my hair with highlights. The highlights came out as thick strands of blondish streaks. The cost of both visits was close to $600! I am looking for a new salon and it will cost me even more money to get my color corrected. My advice is STAY AWAY!
