I moved to Wood Dale a little over a year ago and was in desperate need of a haircut. I have long thick curly hair and was so scared to try a new place but decided to take a chance and couldn’t be happier that I found salon 448! Everyone was so nice and Jessica was simply amazing! She knew exactly what to do with my hair type. She really took the time to get my hair exactly how I wanted it! I will definitely be coming back here again! I highly recommend!

Pamela has been doing my hair for many years. I moved to Florida, but continue to fly up to Illinois to have her cut and style my hair. Salon 448 and Pamela make my experience worth the flight!

Jessica did an EXCEPTIONAL job. I have been to salons in North downtown Chicago, diva curl specialists, you name it. Jessica actually took the time to understand what I wanted and how I wanted my hair to look- and what would be most flattering on me!! I always had felt like my hair was thin and flat- and dragged my face down— if you look at the photos, she absolutely transformed that!! I left crying, I went in for a trim and my bangs were destroyed and my layers were evened out instead of just trimmed. The customer service was great but I regret getting my hair cut there. Just waiting for it to grow out is now my only option.
