Unfortunately, our experience at Salon 21 left much to be desired. The hairdresser was very much apathetic to our family member. She left his head and neck resting on the sink. She didn’t even offer to place a towel under his neck. His perm didn’t curl on the front. I called to inform her but again very much uncaring. She told me she would be leaving in 1 hour and we could come back but likely it wasn’t because of her technique!!! After that type of dismissive response he absolutely would not return. So this was my first time getting my hair done at this salon. I always get it done in NY or in Las Cruces with salons I know. I just couldn’t get into either appointment due to my schedule. I had one of the younger stylist doing my hair who’s starting out in cutting and styling hair. Although I was nervous due to being unfamiliar with the salon, I went in with an open mind. This is the first one-star review I’ve ever written in my life. I think one of the newer hairstylists cut my hair, but she really messed it up… Now, I have to grow my hair back :(

Salon 21 is a hidden gem in Albuquerque! They're affordable and do a phenomenal job! They deserve more than 5 stars!! Lisamarie took time to listen to my wants and needs and did an excellent job on my haircut! She is friendly, knowledgeable and professional! I HIGHLY recommend Salon 21 and Lisamarie! Thank you, Lisamarie for a relaxing, positive and wonderful experience! I'm excited for my next appointment!

Got a hair trim with Lisa, her customer service was amazing and I love how my trim turned out. I can’t wait for my haircut/style and color!
