Amazing place. Don't go there often but when I do always have a great experience. Used to go there when they had the do it yourself ear piercing kits. Now go there occasionally to browse the make up and hair care. Every time I have been there every staff member has been kind and knowledgeable. They don't seem to mind you asking questions. If I could give this location lower ratings I would, I constantly come in and buy 5n a light beautiful brown color, when I went to checkout the manager talked me into getting 5nn and said it wouldn’t fade. I now have BLACK hair and my extensions won’t match, I went back up to the location to get help and the evil girl with dreads and colored braided hair was so horrible I left crying, the woman in there have no idea what they’re doing!! I just left Sally Beauty on 23 mile in Shelby township and will never go back. The clerk lacked any knowledge about how to use the 15 percent discount that I had received via email that specifically said "show this to the clerk when you check out. I SHOWED it to her and she claimed that there needed to be a bar scan but there was no bar scan. This Sally’s is great! I walked in to buy some hair dye to refresh my hair due to issues I was having. Tara immediately asked me if I needed help with anything. I explained my hair journey and what I was there for and she took the time to help me pick out exactly what I needed and explained the whole process for me. She also helped me realize that my current shampoo and conditioner was not helping my hair and causing current issues I was going through.
