Had an early dinner there on Saturday evening with my girlfriend!! It is our very favorite place to regroup after airport drop offs at time in the city!!! Best food going!!! Service perfect! Can't wait to go back!! Needs 10 stars! And the view!! Awesome!
I had the crabwich for lunch! it was excellent! the crab was Dungeness crab which is in season now! :D
Service was a little too fast but friendly...a bit pricy..some dishes a bit salty but great presentation...crab cakes great..have the mussels but skip the shrimp...crab soup very good..
We went here to have dinner last night and have say the food was just okay best part of the dinner was the cheese plate. I ordered the double crab and whole crab was totally disappointed with it. The crab was dry and over cooked and the shrimp were on the tiny side for the price I paid. The prime rib my wife ordered was decent but it was the same prime rib you can get anywhere the side of vegetables and corn was over cooked. We like this restaurant. It is a delightful spot. The food is consistently good. We tried the Cioppino yesterday but weren't impressed. We make it at home and make a red wine broth which is gorgeous with the seafood. Their broth was a tomato potato sauce- thick like they had added bread crumbs. Not good. I haven't ordered this here before but won't do so again. Their sister restaurant at Franciscan does it so much better. We were also cold because they leave the doors and windows open to the outside. We go to Salitos every couple of months and have enjoyed nearly everything on the menu. Last night I decided to try the Cioppino... what a mistake! I don't mind paying a little extra for good food, but sorry guys, this was more of a tomato-potato stew with scant appearances of calamari and mussels. Only one crab leg and no fresh fish whatsoever. And olives? Who puts olives in a Cioppino? This classic San Francisco dish was not served like it should have been... and at $29.95? No. Just no!
We went in for cocktails and appetizers. Delicious crab cakes!! The best around!! Tasty cheese plate and crab chowder in a bread bowl. Friendly service and a wonderful waterfront view. We're going back for sure!!
I had my mom in town and she was looking to have some great seafood. This place definitely delivered! We had the crab � and was not disappointed. However, my husband had the spicy shrimp pasta and was a bit disappointed to see the tiny shrimp vs a few of the large shrimp. Service was fantastic! We will be back though for sure!
