For several months, my wife and I have been using the services of Salisbury Family dentistry, and paying as services were rendered or before the “job” was completed. A few days ago, I was given quite a surprise ….. I was informed that my dental insurance has not been paying the amount they agreed, and they “slapped” me with a $767.60 bill !!! Do you imagine purchasing a vehicle from a Ford dealer for $25,000 dollars, and a few months later receiving a bill for $5,000 dollars because the automaker failed to pay them for X,Y,Z incentives that they have promised? This story does not end with this pathetic chapter ….. I went back to them on Monday, May 3rd to fix a chip on a tooth they repaired recently. After the procedure was completed, I walked out of the dental office with NO notice or indication that there was a payment due. Well …. I was recently notified by my dental insurance that there is a balance for this visit for $165 dollars! This means that the Salisbury Family Dentistry charged me for the May 3rd visit without even asking me if I agree, or without telling me that there will be a charge for the visit …. I believe that ANY and ALL vendors, health providers, or business are OBLIGATED under the law to advise their clients in ADVANCE, and BEFORE services are provided of the cost and fees involved for the services to be tendered. This advise allows a client to either accept or reject the service. Apparently, this business principle does not apply to Salisbury Family Dentistry. I was not given that choice….. The only choice they gave me was they fix it, now I have to pay! Their actions are illegal, pathetic, unfriendly, unprofessional, and against all principles of quality-patient-care and fairness. One last point I want to make …. Next time you go for dental care to their office, please ask them if they guarantee that for your next visit you will be able to see the same “contract” dentist that just saw your or it will be “a different contract dentist”? This is why it will be wise and recommended that you and your love ones stay away from the Salisbury Family Dentistry! ROBERTO ARROYO

They are kind and friendly, Always let's me know about my appointments, and gets me in and out with a smile, I will and have highly recommended Salisbury Family Dentistry. They are like Family

I’ve been visiting this office for years, and have spent several thousand dollars. My husband and children now come to this office. Dr. Cherniavasky is an incredible dentist and will inevitably do great things throughout her career, however, I just can’t deal with the office any longer in order to visit her. I’ve been patient and unwavering throughout some time, receiving faulty cavity fillings multiple times, appointment reminders on cancelled appointments, invalid insurance claims, however, this past week has me livid. We are in the middle of a pandemic, and they wait until I’m in the parking lot checked in for my 3:20 appointment, to call at 3:17 and notify they had not yet verified my new insurance policy (that began 6 months ago!) and would need to reschedule for a new week. The office is apparently incompetent in their insurance and appointment procedures, and is unwilling to rectify their mistake and verify insurance on the spot to keep their scheduled appointment. It is blatant laziness and disregard for patients. Although Dr. C, Ashley, Liz, and a handful of staff have been great, I am no longer willing to battle through the administration to remain a patient, and have been forced to find a new practice.

Dr. Barton is phenomenal! As well as the staff. I can honestly say, I’m no longer nervous of dental work. That’s how you know you’ve found the right one!
