I have had enough of this prison! First, rude staff causing hostile visiting conditions. Second, food and vending machine issues. Third, family visits are every 6 months because there are only 4 units open and they only run one a week! Now a 4th issue! My husband is in severe pain and has gotten no pain meds. They ran tests, found nothing, but have given him no pain meds! I am ex state and this prison is a shit hole with asshole staff! Already been in contact with the Ombudsman and Sacramento! Beautiful location, view, and weather. But then again I got to go home every day.
It's a prison, what do you expect. Lots of criminals and guards.
So Far I haven't had no problems her in Salinas state prison to visit my son ,and I come from Eugene,Oregon
The c.o inside the visiting rooms always made up there own rules every weekend was something new.
