Great experience with Salem W&D. We used Marvin Elevate and Ultimate series replacement windows and patio door which were very expensive but in the end, we are very pleased with the quality and with the overall installation service by Ben, Scott, and Madison. We contracted with Salem Windows & Doors two summers ago to replace our front door and frame including a large window, and they did such a fantastic job that we didn't hesitate to go to them this past December when we needed to replace all the wood windows and doors on the back of our house. Beware! I do not recommend Salem Windows & Doors (SWD) for replacement windows. They represented to us that they could match (within nearly undetectable aesthetics) our existing windows in our home. We trusted their word and paid a $20,000 deposit to order our new windows. Windows were ordered that did not match our existing windows (including transoms that were a different height than our existing windows). I can't say enough good about our experience with Salem Windows and Doors. From the first meeting with owner Ben Heinson we knew we were on the right track in selecting a window vendor.
