Very professional...very polite...listen to all my concerns...from the check in nurse..to all the specialists..Dr Peters WOW THE BEST..anesthesiologist Larry awesome...everyone...from the orientation very knowledgeable and polite...YOU HAVE A TOP RATE HOSPITAL and I have been to a few others.. keep up the great work..Amy Reed..the best...i will recommend your Orthopedic Dept to everyone.. im planning on having my left knee done here also..THANKS AGAIN..I dont like hospitals as a rule..but you made my experience very good...
I recently had Rotator Cuff surgery and I chose Salem Hospital Rehabilition for my Outpatient PT. I was very pleased with the care I received from my PT therapist, Brian. He was kind, caring and very knowledgeable. I would like to Thank him and also Lisa at the front check-in desk. She was so polite and always greeted me with a smile. Her kind words made each visit pleasant.
I brought me my sister and my daughter to be seen I have a back injury and pretty sure my daughter broke her arm and we sat in the waiting that had 3 people besides us waited over an hour to be called back I was called back first and sat for an hour hooked to a blood pressure machine and oxygen reader no one came and I watched all of the nurses and doctor just stand and sit around I would understand if they were busy but they were very slow when my daughter went back they didn't even X-ray her arm the doctor moved it around ... read more
Terrible experience and dangerous lack of care.My friend's mother came to this ER two days ago. She was never given a room and never saw a doctor. They only performed an X-ray, told her nothing was broken, and sent her home. Now, her condition has severely worsened to the point that she is being life-flighted to UPMC in Pittsburgh. This hospital's president needs to spend less time gossiping and more time trying to sell this facility to a larger health network that actually knows how to care for patients. My elderly father was seen in the ER and admitted for a week. The physician and nurses that cared for him did an excellent job and made sure he was given the proper treatment for his illness. Physician was very kind and caring and made sure he listened to him. The excellent care was my father's first stepping-stone to getting on the right track to a full recovery. Thank you.
