Updated: Finally got in and our counselor was great! It really helped my marriage! I wish it just hadn't been as difficult to get in. Original: Took their sweet time getting back to me and when they finally did, it was just to say that they were "truly sorry" they couldn't help. Word are cheap. How about some action from a place with "pastoral" in the name. The absolute least they could have done was maybe give a reference to somewhere else that might help.
Have tried on multiple occasions to schedule. Apparently, there was about a 20 minute window where I might've been able to see someone, which I missed. They do not have a wait list, so it's luck of the draw. Will refer to you secular counselors. I understand that we have a dearth of providers here in Oregon, but just giving random phone numbers to other providers, some more than 50 miles away is not actually helpful.
The staff is friendly and caring, the atmosphere is calm, welcoming and soothing
