Salem Health Imaging Department refuses to provide services to those people that have insurance from out of network or if you have insurance from a provider that they don't have a contract with - they refuse to offer a legal option of signing a waiver of billing insurance and just cash pay.
My husband had an MRI of the spine scheduled. He has a Pacemaker so it has to be coordinated with the tech. The week prior to the scheduled MRI he had a TIA. He did not know what city he was in or how he got there. He didn’t remember talking to his daughter. He was admitted to WVM for monitoring. As the day went on he started to regain his memory. I had a stress test and ultrasound for my heart performed at the Salem Hospital Imaging/Nuclear department- my first one ever. So I was a little anxious. But Heidi and Ashley were professional, caring and friendly during the set-up, even though I threw them a curve right away over my not wanting the Definity injection for resolution. it was resolved and we moved on to the next step. I've been going to AB for years. The Dr is top notch and the staff are always available for questions. They are particularly good at patience, I've seen so many customers be down right hateful towards the staff and they keep a professional attitude. Listen if you want to be the center of attention and believe you are the only one that matters, this might not be your best choice. However if you want a affordable, friendly, and professional experience AB is the only place to go.
