I went to Salem health laboratory to drop off some lab samples for them to be processed as requested by my provider. As soon as I got there to give my sample they asked If I had blue cross blue shield health insurance. I had stated that yes I did and then was told they do not accept my insurance I stated I was willing to pay out of pocket but I was still denied that option and was told they can not accept payment to process my labs. Great staff, parking, building. Etc. Fast and professional.
Wish I could give 2 reviews nursing staff is always great but security having flew like symptoms and being near patients wanding down a 6 year old medically immunocompromised kid is beyond ridiculous
This is my preferred lab for blood work and simple tests like EKGs. Staff are polite, wait times are usually good, I feel welcomed and security is pretty chill. I never feel targeted or anxious about the security checks. They’re very professional and good about their job and making patients feel safe. I have a very flat fanny pack I use to keep my things hidden so it’s very appreciated when security personnel handle it the same way they handle a purse or other typically expected bag.
