Experience couldn’t be slower. Wasn’t even busy when we came in, got “fast tracked” and was there over 4 hours to get a short consult and an ultra sound. Basically an hour to check in, an hour to be seen, an hour to get imaging/testing, and another hour to get results. Should’ve gone to either Salem clinic urgent care or Silverton hospital. Btw, tried to go to Salem Health Urgent care first but they were worthless since they don’t have imaging.
Everyone has been professional enough. However, the procedural planning and implementation of care is seriously flawed. You can only be moved around and wait for so long, while watching the whole waiting room asking the same question— why am I not being helped? From a consultant perspective, things need to be better, much better. After 7 hours, we’re sitting in the waiting room again, with many of the same people, who are really hurting and wondering what’s going on. Came in with what I believed to be a potential intestinal blockage and was in severe pain. I have never had pain like that. I'm from Washington State here visiting a friend and symptoms started at the outlet mall. We rushed to the nearest hospital we could find. They got me in quickly and we're super empathetic and kind. They treated me promptly and gave me a cat scan which showed no blockage, just other things. They gave me fluids, antinausea and managed my pain. Took my dad in today all staff are rude non conversational acting like they are soldiers straight face no humor u wait 10 hrs just so they can tell my dad to take ibuprofen after he's had his whole leg and knee swollen for a month
