Absolutely incredible experience! If you need anything you should check out this shop. Dan helped make my nephew’s dream bikes become a reality as a mixed adoption/Christmas present.
My favorite local bike shop. Brought in a BMX wheel with a bad hub and cone and within 30 minutes Connor was able to source parts off another new in-stock axle to get it up and running for me. Always friendly service there and an increasing selection of BMX parts now that you can purchase Odyssey and Shadow Conspiracy parts. They're also carrying more of those big-wheel BMX Cruisers like the SE Bikes PK Ripper/Big Ripper series.
A tad embarrassing for me, but kudos to Dan, Salem Cycle, and John the mechanic for helping me with a persistent creaking noise on my road bike. After riding it around the block, John tightened my rear quick release and problem solved, so thanks again to a dependable, honest bike shop!
Offers a great lifestyle selection for cycling. Really like the selection of City and commuters mixed with a great selection for those who want to break out on trails. Really pleasant people, just eager to please and make sure customers are happy.
Such a great store and great employees. Purchased a full suspension MTN bike in April. Dan and the entire staff have been nothing but helpful to me as I learn the sport. I ask a ton of questions & everyone is very knowledgeable about the bikes & all the upgrade questions I have concerning swapping out components. The service has also been great. Salem Cycle re-fitted my bike w/tires better for local paths and "Zoom!" I'm riding like the wind. No broom required. Great service, good price and none of the condescension an older woman often gets at expert bike shops. 5 stars!
